The Other Guys does look pretty funny, though I have to say, Will Ferrell just doesn't do much for me. I find him somewhat funny and sometimes really annoying, but it depends on the movie. (I guess that shows his range as an actor...)
I'd like to see the Expendables. I like a good action flick from time to time, but I don't go out of my way to watch them. I liked the Crank movies, but I only watched them because Chester Bennington had cameos in both. But this Expendables movies-with it's cast of top notch action stars like Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren (who will always be *the* best Punisher and best Rocky opponent ever...), Steve Austin, and other good actors like Eric Roberts and Mickey Rourke-well, it just seems like this movie can't be missed. (Though it's possible that it will have *too much* star power...) I'd like to see it just for satisfying the curiosity of how all those actors are going to play off of each other.
I hear there's a third Batman movie in the works. I was pleased to hear the director
won't be bringing back the Joker-saying Heath Ledger played that role so definitively that no one else can take his place. I can't wait to see who the villain, or villains, will be.
